Hello Michael,

I just want to let you know that I have finally received your package,
and presented the President's Distinguished Award ribbon on behalf of
you to the club last Thursday. It was a very emotional experience as
you were greatly missed.

Coincidentally, the theme of the meeting was "Commitment", which made
the presentation even more special. I pointed out that the ribbon
itself is a testament of the unyielding commitment of last year's
executive team. However, I also felt deeply that, our true commitment
was to do a good job of running the club. The award was only a
by-product of our genuine efforts. The audience was very happy to hear
this message and I felt that everyone is motivated more than ever to
contribute back to the club.

I hope things are going well with you in The Windy City. No matter
what happens, you will always find a home at Metrospeakers. :)
