[Executives] Training announced for incoming executives July 30

Hello exec's (incoming and outgoing) 

 

I apologize for not being able to attend the first meeting tonight of the
new "TM regime" at Metrospeakers.  I was putting my TM skills to good use
while I gave the annual Pacific Centre tour to 34 Tourism Vancouver
employees.  This is one of my most favourite dates of the year-speak to a
large group on a topic I know lots about plus put table topic skills to good
use when the questions fly at you during the tour.

 

I'll be back on the 17th at the club to see the Bud award presentation and
be your GE for that evening.  

 

In the meantime, Ricardo may have already mentioned it but we have a make up
training session for those of you new exec's who missed the one in June.  It
will be held Wednesday July 30 in the evening at the TB vets building in N.
Burnaby.  I encourage you to get familiar with the district 21 calendar,
lots of TM events are often posted here from open houses, informal get
togethers and of course training:

I will post training times for the position (example VP ed may be at 7pm or
8pm) you can choose to attend one training session and visit another one to
see if that's a role you'd like to pursue in the future or just attend the
one session for your role.
