[Executives] Celebration Dinner

Hello fellow executives,

I hope everyone is having a great long weekend! If you go outside, make sure
you bring lots of sunscreen and water.

As tomorrow signals the official end of our executive year, I'm starting to
feel a bit nostalgic.

The past year with Metrospeakers had been a rewarding and yet challenging
experience. Together, we've achieved the President's Distinguished Award,
hosted two external events, two major social events, and two contests. We've
attracted many new and enthusiastic members into our club, and I'm confident
that they will help to carry this club forward. But there were many
challenges along the way, and I've already mentioned most of them during our
last executive meeting. Despite these hardships, we stuck together as a team
and made sure that the club businesses were carried on as usual. Thank you
for standing by the club during those tough times. I hope everyone can look
back at these fond memories in the future, and feel proud of what we've
achieved.

I think most of us will still be actively involved in the club, and in the
case of Ricardo, he will be taking on bigger responsibilities in the area! I
would like to take this opportunity to announce that I will be taking a
break from the weekly Thursday night club activities, just so that I will
have some time off to reflect on the past year. However, I will still be
involved with the new executive team on a supporting basis, to make sure
that they have all the assistance they can receive.

To cap off our year, I would like to host a celebration dinner sometimes in
July. Please send me your availability/unavailability so I could arrange a
time. I hope everyone can attend!
