[MetroMembers] Vice President of Public Relations

Good evening fellow MetroSpeakers,

I hope everyone has had a great weekend! I would like to take this
opportunity to announce our newly elected Vice President of Public
Relations.

When Lila Chan first joined our club, she immediately took on many speaking
roles to improve her speaking skills and became a very active member.

As time went by, Lila emerged as a strong leader through her commitment to
the club. Earlier this year, she went to a club coach training session, and
learned how to help a club that is in need. Being a very creative
individual, she volunteered to organize the upcoming Mulberry Retirement
Home event, and joined the social committee to help out the club BBQ next
week. Last Thursday, she nominated herself during the election, and spoke
passionately about her desire to make a difference for the club. Her
dedication and commitments paid off, as she was subsequently elected by the
members as the new Vice President of Public Relations.

Let's congratulate Lila Chan once again on her new appointment! You will do
a great job, and we are certainly looking forward to the amazing public
relation and social events that we will have this year.
