[MetroMembers] Spring Contest on April 3rd.

Hello Metro Speakers Members,

 

As many of you already know we will have our Spring contest on April 3rd.
There are 2 categories to compete in: the international speech and
evaluation contest. You must have your CC#6 or higher to compete in the
international speech. Speeches will be 5-7 minutes.  Evaluations will be the
usual 3 minutes.

We'll also need judges, timers and ballot counters. A test speaker for the
evaluation contest will be confirmed this week.

 

Why compete in contests?  Choose to compete because you need that extra
challenge as we sometimes drop into a routine in our speaking roles.
Contests help give you that edge in regular meetings.  So choose to step up
and compete in the speech or evaluation, or both!
