Metro Speakers Members,

 

Just a reminder that next week, April 3rd, is our club contest.  Yes, it the
much anticipated Club International Speech & Evaluation Contest.  Still
pondering if you should enter into the contest . well, don't wait any
longer, signup today!  This is your chance to take your speaking and/or
evaluation skills to the next level.  Don't hesitate . Just do it!   We
still have room for 2 more International speakers and 1 more evaluation
speaker.  Reply to this email to signup.

 

Please note that all contest roles are filled.  This includes counter,
timers, judges, test  speaker, chief judge and chairperson. 

 

I will send another email this weekend to those in roles and to the
contestants.  Those in the above roles, I will send you some background
information to help you be more prepared for the contest (mainly judges).
For contestants, I will email you a set of questions to fill out before the
contest to reduce the amount of paperwork you have to fill out on the day of
contest.

 

All those in roles and contestants must arrive at the contest before 6:45pm.
Judges will be briefed at 6:45pm.  Contestants will fill out any remaining
paperwork and will be informed of the contest rules at 6:45pm as well.
Please ensure you arrive on time.

 

Everyone is welcome to attend.  Good opportunity to see what a club contest
is all about.  It only happens twice a year.  Also, the most important
point, we all go to the pub after to congratulate the winners.  A good
chance to socialize with all members.  What more could you ask for? J
