Metro Speakers Toastmasters is conducting a multi-month long exciting contest! The aim of the contest is to encourage members to sign up for a role early or speech in the week in order to make our meetings run smoothly! Each time you sign up early, you get an entry for a draw for a grand prize!
How it works?
Starting from Sept 29, 2022 to January 19, 2023, every Tuesday at 6pm (PST) a snapshot will be taken of our Easy Speak page for the meeting that week. Anyone that has already signed up for a role by that time will gain an entry into the contest. Members that sign up for General Evaluator or a Speech that week will get 2 entries. At the end of the contest, one lucky member will be drawn and they will win a prize!
The more entries you get, the more chances you have to win!!
Rules
- You must sign up for a role/speech by Tuesday @ 6pm PST on the week of the respective meeting to be counted.
- Signing up for multiple roles doesn’t grant you additional entries for that week.
- In the event you signed up early (before Tuesday @ 6pm) for a role/speech. But you were asked to take on General Evaluator (after Tuesday @ 6pm) by the Chair Person and will give up your current role/speech. You will get 2 entries for being General Evaluator.
- In the event you signed up early (before Tuesday @ 6pm) for a role/speech. But you were asked to take on a Speech by Chair Person (after Tuesday @ 6pm) and to give up your current role/speech. You will get 2 entries for doing the speech.
- You must actually show up and do the role for your entry to be valid, the spreadsheet below will be updated after each meeting.
- As a one-time bonus, anyone that signed up for a role/speech for the meeting on Sept 29 when the contest was announced will receive entries for that night.
Prizes
- The prize is a $125 gift card to any place of your choice OR a free TM membership (your choice!)
